Interested in private music lessons?

I am current available to teach private lessons through Zoom, WebEx, and other video conference platforms, or with limited in person options.

What makes me different?

I have taught students with a wide variety of skill levels: ranging from beginning percussionists to upperclassmen in college. My lessons are individualized for each students’ needs and are designed to increase technical capabilities and musical expression. The knowledge I bring comes from an extensive performance background and intense study of percussion pedagogy from some of the world’s best percussion teachers.

What instruments can be taught?

  • Concert and rudimental snare drum

  • Marching Percussion

  • Drumset

  • Marimba

  • Vibraphone

  • Timpani

  • Multi-Percussion

  • World percussion

In addition, students of all instruments will be instructed in sight-reading skills. Lessons may also be catered for collegiate auditions and competitions.

How much will it cost?

Zoom lessons:

  • 30 minutes- $25

  • 60 minutes- $45

In-person lessons:*

  • 30 minutes- $30

  • 60 minutes- $50

Payments are made on a “per lesson” basis and can be made via PayPal, Venmo, Zillow, or Cash App.

*In-Person Policy

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, in-person lessons will be very limited in number. Lessons will take place in the Greater Cincinnati Area unless prior arrangements have been made by a band director. The lesson will last a maximum of 30 minutes, masks are required at all times, and social distancing will be enforced. The lesson will take place outside, if possible. Personal checks are an acceptable form of payment for in-person lessons.
